Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who would have known that dark chocolate, white chocolate, pecans, and butter make an amazing cookie

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecans
  • Sea Salt or Salt Flakes (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  3. Beat butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and creamy.
  4. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time. Mix until incorporated.
  5. Slowly add dry ingredients into the butter and sugar mixture until just incorporated.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  7. Drop large heaping scoops of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Top with sea salt flakes. (You can also add the salt flakes after baking for a prettier look, but I prefer to do before so they stick a little better.)
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Instructions

  1. Hold on to one end of yarn between your fingers
  2. Wrap yarn around your 4 fingers 200x or depending on how full you want your pom pom to be.
  3. Cut off the other end of the yarn and use the 2 ends to tie a knot around the center of the yarn loop. If you slide it off your hand, make sure to hold onto the shape of the yarn.
  4. Tie the ends together tight, then trip the loops with scissors, taking care not to cut the center loop
  5. Trim into sphere shape.

  11. Microwave for 1 minute and 10 seconds.
  12. Let cool, and eat!

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Farenheit
  2. Chop cauliflower into small florets, roast for 20-30 minutes until charred.
  3. Flip halfway through for even cooking.
  4. For sauce, finely mince garlic and put in mixing bowl
  5. Add enough oil to coat garlic, then slowly add salt, red pepper flakes and lemon juice to taste.
  6. Toss the cauliflower in the sauce and add seasoning to taste.
