Tired of cup noodles? Try this version!

Ingredients

  • Cup Noodles (spicy flavors go great with the eggs, corn and cheese)
  • Egg
  • Canned Corn or cooked corn
  • Shredded cheese of choice
  • (optional) Green onions

Instructions

  1. Follow cup noodle instructions to boil water and fill.
  2. Immediately add egg and stir to facilitate cooking.
  3. Close the lid and let cook to amount of time in cup noodle instructions
  4. 30 seconds before the end of that time, add corn and cheese.
  5. Close the lid to allow cheese to melt
  6. Add green onions and enjoy!

Pickles & Mustard

salt + vinegar + salt

Ingredients

  • Spicy Brown Mustard (was used in this video)
    • choose your preferred mustard
  • Dill pickles
    • or not, if you have another type available
    • doesn’t necessarily have to be slices

Instructions

  1. Obtain a bottle or jar of mustard
  2. Find pickles
  3. Drizzle mustard onto pickles however you like
  4. Eat your flavor-packed creation!

Avocado Cherry Tomato Salad

Avocado Cherry Tomato Salad

This recipe is a dupe from Lemonade, use the avocado skins and pits to make natural dyes!

  • 4 firm-ripe California Hass avocados, halved, pitted, peeled, and cut into chunks
  • 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes, halved crosswise
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
  • 1/4 cup Lime Vinaigrette (recipe below)
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Lime Vinaigrette
  • Juice of 2 to 3 limes, (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2/3 cup canola oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the avocados, tomatoes and pine nuts.
  2. Make vinaigrette: In a blender, combine the lime juice, honey, mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper. Blend on medium speed for a few seconds, and then reduce the speed to low. With the motor running, slowly add the oil until emulsified. Pour into a container or jar and mix in the cilantro. Keep any leftover vinaigrette covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  3. Add vinaigrette to salad. Toss gently
  4. Season generously with salt and pepper. Serve chilled.

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle salt onto cherries a little bit at a time
  2. Toss to coat evenly
  3. Season to taste

  • String (thicker than sewing thread, mine was 6-strand)
  • tape
  • scissors
  • measuring tape

Instructions

  1. Choose your string and colors
  2. Cut 3 or more strands to a length of approximately 15 inches
  3. Tie a knot at one end
  4. Tape that end to a table or surface
  5. Choose a starting color, and begin tying knots

  7. Enjoy yourself or share/gift with your friends!

Instructions

  1. Place your produce into the container with the roots down
  2. Fill the container with water
  3. Leave it by the window still
  4. Wait one week
  5. Check on them to see if you should refill the container or take out your produce to use them

  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Stickers
  • Glue/Adhesive
  • Pen
  • Marker
  • Photos

Instructions

  1. Come up with an idea.
    • Section your materials out for each page.
  2. Trim the photos down to the size of your choice.
  3. Consider the stickers you want to use for each page.
  4. Start your page by putting the title down.
  5. Add the stickers you selected for the page.
  6. Add any additional photos, text, or stickers you want on the page.
  7. Repeat this process for the rest of your scrapbook pages!

Marble Run

Supplies

  • Marble
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Tape

Instructions

  1. Cut the cardboard to create a frame with a folded piece and the borders
  2. Tape the borders to help support the frame up
  3. Cut the cardboard to create the race track (make sure the width is wide enough to fit one marble)
  4. Tape the racetrack on the frame (make sure the height clearance is high enough for the marble to fit)
  5. Cut 1 cm wide cardboard pieces that are as long as your racetrack pieces
  6. Tape these pieces to the side of your racetrack to act as bumpers
  7.  Add an epic slide by taping it at the end
  8. Time your marble!

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix together baking soda and cornstarch
  2. In a pan, mix together the dry mixture and the water over medium-low heat
  3. Stir constantly until dough is formed
  4. Transfer to a bowl and knead until smooth
  5. Let cool
